Membership??
Do I have to be a member to go on a trip?
No! Being a part of Into the Wild doesn't require a membership. All you have to do is sign up for a trip! Trip signups are online through this link. They can also be found through our weekly emails to the student body. Overnight trips go on sale Tuesday evenings at 8pm. Day hikes go on sale Wednesday evenings at 8pm.
Questions about our trips that week? Come to the ITW table outside Benson Tuesdays & Wednesdays, from 10am-1pm.
All trips are first come, first serve!
Gear Rentals
Help! I don't have any gear!
Not a problem! Into the Wild has gear rentals for backpacks, sleeping bags, sleeping bag liners, sleeping pads, headlamps, sporks, cups, and bowls. We provide group gear such as tents, food, lanterns, first aid kits, etc. Gear rentals can be secured with a 50$ refundable cash deposit at the time of your pre-trip meeting in the Into the Wild office. Your pre-trip meeting time and date will be communicated to you via email after you sign-up for a trip!
We do rent gear for personal use. Check the 'trips’ -> ‘gear rentals’ section of our website for more information. Please stop by the Into the Wild office to enquire further.
refunds
Due to club and university policy, we cannot offer trip refunds. If you wish to receive your money back for a trip if you can no longer go, your best option is to contact us at intothewild@scu.edu.
Together we can search for someone who is able to pay for and fill your place on the trip!
